Carlie Adams joined Dr. Cunningham at Irongate Family Practice in 2012. She attended Penn State University for her undergraduate degree in Biology/Neuroscience. She then worked as a neurosurgical research assistant through Harvard Medical School for three years, where she studied stroke and spinal cord injury, as well as diabetic foot ulcers.

She earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Lock Haven University, which has an emphasis on family practice and rural medicine.

She enjoys skiing, hiking, reading, and spending time with her husband and two children.
